The BAI-BA-440 DualBeam Barcode Reader represents the most modern, state-of-the-art device for Vehicle Access Control and Automatic Vehicle Identification Systems. Combining advanced laser technology with the proven DualBeam design pioneered by Barcode Automation, the BAI-BA-440 Barcode Reader offers the best Performance, Reliability, and Cost Effectiveness available.

Small Yet Powerful

Packaged in a compact aluminum enclosure, the iLaser Scanner is the smallest available, yet still produces dual laser lines for accuracy and is immune to interference and glare from the Sun or radio frequency interference from cell phones, radio and microwave towers.

Stand Alone

Its ability to act as a simple “Stand Alone” Access Controller using the onboard relay output the scanner will control the Vehicle Gate Directly. As vehicles pass by each decal is read and the ID code is checked
against the internal database.

Up to 100,000 Memory

Can handle 100,000 unique ID codes, which can be individually configured to grant or deny access. In addition, transactions are recorded with the Time/ Date and Event (Entered or Denied) for later retrieval.

High Performance

Provides accurate decoding of Decals on Vehicles at speeds up to 25 mph and distances up to 6 feet from the scanner.

Other features include modular construction, quick disconnects, and built-in diagnostics for fast and easy servicing.

Diagnostics are easily accessed using a laptop with either a RS232 serial port or USB port. It is an ideal access control reader for gated communities, airports, parking garages, hospitals, government installations, rental car lots, and other vehicle entrances.
